The True Light of the World

Salvation For Israel Ministries teams up with believers from Germany to continue to shed the Light of Messiah in Tel Aviv and also Herzliya. See photo.

Hanukkah is known as the Festival of Lights because of the miracle that happened during that amazing time in history. It is a special season to share the true Light of the world, Yeshua, with the people of Israel.

By the guidance of the Spirit of the Lord, Zev approached a couple named David and Ronit who were sightseeing near the beautiful beaches of Tel Aviv. "Chag Sameach (Happy Holiday)," Zev warmly said to the couple. They explained that they didn't really celebrate Hanukkah because they have no kids and thought it was mainly a Holiday for children.

Zev warmly said, "Hanukkah is a holiday for miracles, salvation, and the true Light of the world." "What do you mean?" asked David. Zev opened the Bible to Psalms 27:1 and read, "The Lord is my Light and my Salvation - whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid?" See photo.

This time Ronit asked, "What do you mean by salvation?" Zev replied, "God loves us so much that He sent His Messiah to wash us and deliver us from darkness to light. Ronit said she was a Bible teacher and never read about light and darkness. "Where does it say this?" she asked.

Zev turned to Isaiah 5:2 and read, "The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned." Zev lovingly said, "This Hanukkah is your time to move from darkness to light." He then handed them a Bible with highlighted Messianic prophecies. See photo.

He also blessed them and said, "If you ask God for revelation and read His Word, then you will know the light of Messiah and receive Him as your Savior. Thus, you will become children of God. See photo and please pray for the salvation of David and Ronit.

From there the group headed to the marina in Herzliya to hand out Bibles and Bible DVDs. It was a beautiful place and a wonderful time to share the love of our Messiah! See photos.

The year of 2012 is approaching. May it be a year of incredible miracles and a great harvest in the Land our Father loves.

"But Israel will be saved by the LORD with an everlasting salvation; you will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting." (Isaiah 45:17 NIV)

Please join us in prayer for the Salvation of Israel. You still have another day to receive a tax benefit for 2011. Please consider partnering with us to reach the people of Israel with the Light of Israel.

Salvation For Israel Ministries traveled to Bat Yam with worship leaders Boaz and Oxana Eliahu and believers from congregation Tiferet Yeshua to celebrate Hanukkah in a wonderful senior citizens home. (After reading the report please scroll down to the bottom of the page to watch footage of the worship.)

The hand of Yeshua was upon us at the residence as we were allowed to worship the Lord and hand out Bibles. We also blessed the people with plenty of Hanukkah donuts! See photos:

Zev spoke a message that declared God's love is received through the Light of the Messiah.
The people were so appreciative because of the love we shared. Zev encouraged them and explained that the Temple's menorah was supernaturally lit for eight days. He said in the Bible the number eight represents new beginnings. He desired for them to understand that in Yeshua, our spirit will never grow old.

Zev read Psalms 27:1, "The Lord is my Light and my Salvation." The Holy Spirit was in the room as they stood up and began to clap their hands. Praise God!

As members of Tiferet Yeshua prayed, a woman named Lila approached Zev and said, "I have been searching for the truth for many years but it wasn't until today that I genuinely sensed the love of God. Please tell me how I could have what you have?" Zev began to share verses from Isaiah 53 and Psalms 2 with her. As he did this she started to weep. See photos:

But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. (John 4:23 NASB)
